“Hey guys, check out my new Mustang!”
“Cool, my mom has one of those. She loves how quiet and isolating it is. ”

I had to laugh the the video, around the 1:08 mark. People might not think it’s a true Mustang, but it does have a propensity to run over people. :P

I love everything about it except the name. It doesn’t make me angry or anything, I just think it’s lazy. Just “Mach-E” would have been an ok name, if a bit of a mouthful.
How about naming it the Ford ? It even looks a little like a horseshoe for that subtle mustang reference. The tagline "Resistance is futile" basically writes itself.

Sounds to me like you need to be placed in a white padded cell with a straight jacket.

I think this is one of those correlation/causation things - just because it has the name does automatically make it crash into things and people.
We have to wait until people bring it to a Cars+Coffee; more importantly, we all need to be aware of when they’re leaving said Cars+Coffee.

Am old enough to remember dragging my dad into a Ford dealership to enter a contest to win a free Mustang (1968, I was 8). Late in 1968, before he went into Jack Amatucci Chevrolet to order yet another Impala, I dragged him to a line of Camaros parked in front and pointed out that there were 2 in his favorite color (frost green). Why did he care? He was color- blind.
The Impala had black vinyl interior and no A/C. And I had to date in that car in high school, in DC and MD, which are swamplike . But I still have a deep respect for the Mustang name. Just don’t slap it on a minivan.

Rent maybe 2 cars a year, so I think a Mustang GT should be next.

Besides the name I actually kinda like it. Aside from the typically range anxiety issues that would bother me.
